I have had the 'there is an error with their message but posts it anyway' issue before and it turns out it was a problem with another page that I had just modified. You should think about what modifications you installed just prior to this problem because chances are it is one of those causing the problem. You can try turning your plugins off one-by-one and then seeing if the problem persists.
