I am not sure what aMember does, but if you just want simple promotions, I don't see any reason for purchasing an external script when vB has the functionality built in.

And you can set up as many paid subscriptions as you want, mark them as recurring (meaning they bill every so often), and have them promote to groups. This way you can have as many hidden forums as you want.
