Is there a complete features list for the 3.7 photo gallery feature or better yet, an analysis?

I needa photo gallery and don't mind the setup or costs. I just want a good system that integrates great and has the forums look and feel so if they make future changes it cascades down to the photo gallery. And of course a single security permissions system for public and private photos
