vb.org Archive - View Single Post - popup notification problem

I have activated(put it to Yes) the private message pop up option from the VBulletin default registration options.But even then when i add a new user or even view an existing user's profile the radio option 'Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received' always displays a 'No' even if it is activated and saved again.

if u know the solution to it please do reply.
