vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Regular Expression: Block http or www in Profile Field????

I am currently being bombarded with human spammers on our board. Luckily, do to our "anti-spammer" measures in place, none of their attempts to post succeed.

However it is annoying to see the spam usernames appear as they register. Nearly everyone of them has a web address in their profile upon registration.

Unfortunately I am extremely unfamiliar with regular expressions. Is it possible to use RE's to block URLs from being used in the profile?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
