Runs fine on my laptop too. Basic version and it's loaded for bear. HP dv6205us
It's just a matter of wanting to learn the in's and out's of a new os. Trim off the fat and it runs fine. Only problems I really have are from the loose nut between the chair and the keyboard. (For those of you that don't catch that joke, it means self inflected issues coming from blatant acts of ignorance.

As for the price, yeah it's a little steep. I gave $230.00US for home premium at the soon to be defunct CompUSA.
