I've seen that on some Vbulletin sites as well, you don't log in and you just read through messages and you aren't able to see links or photos in people's signatures (encourages people to log in I guess) and it tells you that you need X number of posts and currently have Y.
The problem is I cannot find if this is part of vbulletin itself or some add-on or modification.
When I go through usergroups it is all about USING signatures, not about VIEWING them in terms of the security and settings such as # of lines of text, whether an image can be included, how large the image is etc.
I looked at promotions and the problem with that is that you still need a low-end usergroup that isn't allowed to see signatures, etc. and I don't see where in the usergroup editor that you can toggle those settings.
Does anyone have any idea where this comes from?
