You might want to have a look on the vBulletin.com forum, there are a few threads on configuring and troubleshooting ImageMagick.

If that doesn't bring a solution, please consult your hosting company on the IM implementation on their server.

If all that fails, i suggest you open a support ticket, so we can have a more detailed look on your server.

I was getting the same Error Message while trying to Upload a Profile Image, and the reason was because of Setting in "Image Settings" -> "Image Processing Library" -> the Option "ImageMagick 6", instead of the Option "GD"!!

I stablished that "ImageMagick 6" Option because Spammer Bots were Registering in my Forums, and somehow "ImageMagick 6" Image Verification stopped them a little.

I'll check what you said in vbulletin.com for "configuring and troubleshooting ImageMagick"!!
