I dont know this for sure, but I think turning off email activation actually helps

Ive seen the bot software in action, it monitors the email account and waits for the confirmation email, confirms, then hits the forum to post, if the email never arrives, it may never post

I use the timezone mod and havent had a bot register in almost a year
