Would it be possible to add $blocks[friends] to a new page somehow.

I'm currently using Gary King's How to create your own vBulletin-powered page! (uses vB templates) and it's working fine, except for this that is

Could someone tell me if I'm mistyping the url wrong perhaps, both http://www.letsgather.net/friends.php and http://www.letsgather.net/friends.php?u=1 aren't working.
