Point 1 - fixed in 2.2.9.

Point 2 - fixed in 2.2.9 (I hope) - I think I'd made a mistake with urlencoding

Point 3 - not currently - I think this may get done for the final release of 2.2.9

Point 4 - edit the links_playbit template
