My frontend is built in joomla, and I used the component jgallery2, but still, that wasn't good enough.

Now my site's galleries are on flickr. I paid USD 25 for a pro account, and while I lost the pageviews at the gallery, if you care to put a link in each one of your pics (which you can do massively) you'll en up having more visits, plus you get more incoming links for pagerank purposes.
