I hope this makes sense....

I am brewing an idea at a forum that I am involved in and I am looking for a little advice (or help).

At this forum, a lot of folks collect the same things and there is a lot of trading. There are a lot of forum posts about this and it gets kind of convoluted at times.

I am looking for a piece of software (associated with vBulletin or not) that would be MySQL based, and allow custom fields for information about each piece in a member's collection. People could register and enter each piece in their collection and input information about size, color, manufacturer, whatever....

Somehow, that information would be displayed on web pages and would be searchable (for example if a member was looking for a particular item he could find the other members that had it).

Is there software like this around or anything that works with vBulletin?
