If this is what did you meant, yes, you can have different price per Ad for any single category or subcategory.
To setup subcategories, first you must setup categories and then, on the drop list on the right of the category's name, choose "Edit Subcategories".

Maybe I'm just overlooking something obvious, but after reading 8 pages of comments I see no instructions anywhere about how to add categories! It's not even mentioned at all in the instructions in the initial post. The instructions in the zip file says a bit more:

The only odd thing I see in the screenshots is a "New Extra Field" box but there's no indication this has anything to do with vbfclassifieds or how to get to it.

Edit: Currently missing from the instructions is the not-so-trivial requirement to
refresh your admin cp after importing the product. Then you'll find a new group on the left "vbFClassifieds", which includes Categories.
