vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Users able to see *own* files, even if usergroup can't download

The way I have downloads set up on my forums are that a user can't download unless they are a member of a usergroup which requires a paid subscription / manual admin usergroup change.

Downloads aren't disabled for that usergroup with VB Permissions, just a template edit disabling "registered users" from viewing the download area of the postbit.

I want to make it so that users in the usergroup that isn't allowed to download can view files if they were the uploader, but not if it's someone elses file.

Anyone know how this could be done?
