You can add the adv code from the first post..
Then go into the admincp >> Plugins & Products >> Plugin Manager
and find LCD Display[forumhome_start],, uncheck it and save..

Look for

Code:

margin-top: 0px;

and change to

margin-top: -3px;

See if that helps..
