Ask yourself why you feel the need to spank your child; I have five kids, so can speak to the subject pretty well. If you have an opinion that suggests spanking your child is acceptable, please post up just how many kids you have so we know if you are talking from experience or just stupidity.

Spanking is often more about the parent's anger than it is about correcting bad behavior. Think about you - kid acts up, you get pissed and smack the kid. That wasn't for his benefit - it was for yours. Would you still do that if you took a few minutes to chill? When your having a bad day at work and asking like a jerk how about I pull your pants down and smack your ass until you cry?

Just what part of physical abuse of your child do you find to be "for their own good"? Truth is you wouldn't dare pull a stunt like that on a grown adult - let alone try to confront someone like me with an open hand. Would you spank your child in public or do you prefer to wait until nobody could see you because you know that either you'd get your ass kicked or arrested for beating on a small child?

If it makes you feel better to take your anger out on a small child, then you probably don't deserve to have children in the first place.
