I am seeking a basic user authentication bridge for vb 3.6+

Basically, I wish to be able to simply add a class or some sort of include to a third party php application that gives me access to vbulletin's user base for user authentication.

Something small and basic.

I'm sure one exists, but I'm having trouble finding it, any one have some linkage?
