I would like to put my own content into a side-module... I assume that it would not be that difficult, but was hoping for a help on a simple one so that I could figure out the rest on my own

1. I want to put a side box with the available Social Groups active and public on the system...

There is much more that I want to do, but if I could get some idea how to use these blocks to create some custom content, that would be great!
