vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Disallow guests to view forum threads (but NOT the Search bots)

I want to disallow guests (not logged in) to view thread content.
I have set the "Can View Thread Content" to No for the usergroup Guests / Not logged in but it also disallow the search bots (Google, Yahoo) to view and save in search engine's cache, the threads.

I have no problem if users can get the threads' content e.g. on Google's cache. I want to disallow the viewing 'cause it increase the registered users.

Any idea to allow Bots to view threads' content?
