I have had both Bellsouth and Comcast.

With Comcast, I had nothing but problems, constant outages.

Bellsouth is really good (I have the 6.0 speed). I have them now. Very fast (although Comcast is a little faster) and very reliable (no outages).

Bellsouth doesn't block anything; Comcast doesn't block anything but they have recently severely slowed p2p and some bit torrent (google search)

I would recomment Bellsouth over Comcast
