Tagging them is likely a bit 'cleaner' since they'll all be listed here at vB.org in your UCP instead of having to bookmark them all.

I use the tagging feature in a manner similar to Wayne... I tag modifications that show promise & I want to keep an eye on and also for modifications that I don't currently have a need for but are interesting enough that I want to keep them 'tagged' for the future if I find myself being able to use one of them.
