It is possible, as I have done it HERE.

You have to search for all instances of arcade.php in the files and rename them to ibproarcade.php. Not as simple as it sounds.

If it's because you want to run v3arcade as well, you also have deal with all the /arcade/ folders.

It also makes upgrading a nightmare.

Edit: I now see from a similar post in the v3arcade thread that this is indeed what you're trying to do.

It's possible, but tricky.

Firstly, leave the v3arcade files as they are....arcade.php.

Secondly, take all ibproarcade references to arcade.php and change them to ibproarcade.php
Then rename the ibproarcade folder from "arcade" to "ibproarcade".
Then take all instances of arcade/ in the ibpro files and change them to ibproarcade. This is slow, manual process so beware.

You also have to watch your gamedata folder. This needs to be moved to the v3arcade /arcade/ folder, even though it's for ibproarcade, because the games try to reference it from there. So when you install any TAR files, you will get an error message, the game will have installed but you'll need to manually upload the gamedata files.

Finally, once this is done, games from the two arcades are not interchangeable, they have to run on the arcade they were originally converted for.

It's a LOT of effort, and frankly as the games are natively interchangeable now, there's no technical reason to do it. Unless you really know what you're doing, steer clear of this.
