Two movies I watched recently, both Gangster films:

- City of God (Cidade de Deus)
- Shottas

Both are great and not for the kiddies. Out of the two I liked City of God the most.

Note: The versions I saw were subtitled. I could understand most of Shottas (which is in "English") without them, but there are many parts in the film where you'll need them. As the film goes on you'll catch on to some of the dialect used...but at some points you'll be asking yourself "Was that English!?".

City of God is probably one of the best films I've seen....but I'm a sucker for things based on a true story.
