Yes, Amazon.com is the internet's biggest and most well-known store. They sell nearly everything and have hundreds of thousands of partner marketplaces. Their online catalog is pretty much a directory of any purchasable product.
AME's default installation already includes an Amazon plugin. It takes a long AmazonURL and converts into the name of the product being linked to, next to a nice Amazon logo. So, for example, this:
http://www.amazon.com/1-Habits-Highl...pd_sim_b_img_1
would be converted to this:

Amazon also has an "associates" program that a lot of webmasters are a part of. Link to a product and include your associates "referrer ID" and you get a small commission. So there are plug ins for vBulletin that automatically convert any Amazon URL in a forum, to include the webmaster's "associates" referrer ID.
My suggestion, since these two add-ons appear to conflict with each other, was to create an AME plug-in that accomplished both tasks.
