Any chance it can be tweaked to take advantage of hulu's (unique) ability to allow sharers to specific clips (ie: start and end point) within the video? A timeline is available on Hulu's "Share" screen, where you get the URL.

For example, I did this with the Breakfast Club sample here:

After dragging the start and end points, the default sharable URL (http://www.hulu.com/watch/1517) became:
http://www.hulu.com/watch/1517#2260:2415

I will look into that.........it should be able to start and stop.....
