Default Anyone know of a way to test links in posts?
I am looking for a way to periodically run a script to identify any URL links in posts that are no longer active and need to be deleted. I haven't found this capability within vBulletin (let me know if I missed it) and I was wondering if there is a mod or if you think it would be possible to create a mod to test post links. I have members that have posted links to Youtube.com videos or photobucket.com images, etc. and the links are no longer valid. I'd like to keep the site up to date as much as possible, and remove bad links. It would be great to have a utility that would scan all posts, check the link integrity then generate a report of bad links that can be moderated and deleted if desired. Any ideas how to accomplish this? Thanks for any input.
