vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Quick Register for Unregistered in place of quick reply

I would like a mod that only shows for unregistered users. It should appear where quick reply is usually at at the bottom of the thread. If the user is unregistered then the form should show a short registration form like username, password, email, captcha and then a place to reply to the thread.

Then the reply should show up after the user has confirmed their email.

Can that be easily done?
