Thanks for helpin me out.

I actually tried that... in fact I tried everything controlled in StyleVars. Limited all borders and expanded all width's... still a nogo.

Is it possible that a template can hardcode the width?

i have a "$spacer_close" in the footer... but no "$spacer_open" in the header. Does this mean anything?
