vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Can mods get registration emails from new users that choose theiir forum?

We have many regional areas (forums) on our site that our members can choose to join, ex Northern Ca, Southern, CA. Is it possible to or a hack out there where we can have an email sent at registration to the moderator in charge of one of the regional areas (forum) so the mod can send a personal welcome email to the new user?

We have about 100 moderators state by state and keeping after this is a bit of a job and sendign emails to all 100 mods when someone registers is a bit overkill.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated
