Actually, recently YT installed their own copyright software that is now preventing the posting of copyrighted content when compared to the studios submitted works. This update actually caused issues with response times, playability of even valid links, and for a short period was down as I couldnt even bring up their main site. Sure its not everyday that they do an ugrade like this but just dont be fooled into a flase sense of "reliability" by them. When you place things in control of an external site you are at their mercy and rules/regulations/issues. etc.

Scripting attacks are easy to do on bb code tags. For security and responsibility I wont go into details but just a bit of info, there is absolutely no validation that what is being linked to.
