I have some advice for those on IIS and then a question for the experts:
If you are on Microsoft/IIS/ISAPI:
.htaccess is not recognized. Instead, I created 3 text files in the root directory. Then I renamed them to match the filenames in the data folder (ex:sitemap_1.xml.gz). Then I right clicked on these files, then selected Properties. Click the radio button for redirect, then enter the path to the real file in data. Do this for all 3 files.
When complete, I suggest you go to a browser and enter the URL's to confirm the redirects are working.
On to my question:
I have about 1000 pages that are in the same directory as my forum. Any way to get this software to spider them and add them to the sitemap?
Thanks,
Danny
