what makes them hacks is that you either replace existing code, add new code to vbulletin og both. i think you'll find you just have to follow the instructions that follow the hacks

it's really not that difficult, just take your time and be very carefull to follow the instructions, and always make sure you keep backups of the original code and the last working code in an hacking process.
