thank you soo much jdsinclair! I had nearly given up hope anybody was even listening to this issue...

I'll give this a spin immediately and get back to you with any pertinent results although I am guessing it's going to work just great...

passing it onto Supermoderators instead of moderators was a smart call btw and no skin off of anyone's nose who really wants to implement this protocol on a regular basis...

followup: piece of cake...works perfectly. marked as installed, rated excellent and voted MOTM. Thanks again for taking the time to attend to this. It may not be the glitziest mod of all time but it's going to make a big difference to some of us...moreso as time goes on I think...
