That page should be valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional so it might have something to do with how Firefox renders the page. See here for more information, and try letting Firefox completely load the page before you scroll.

You'll need to edit the CartPlog templates (search for currency) using & #36; (without spaces) for the dollar sign so not to have any confusion with variables.
