vb.org Archive - View Single Post - adding attachment without actually posting anything possible with product?

Im just wondering, with the use of plugins / products would it be possible to attach pictures to threads without actually posting anything... In layman's terms i envisage it being a button next to "post reply" which would say add attachment which would launch the attachments popup, only reason im asking this is here is because im not sure if the vb architecture would let this happen ?
