vb.org Archive - View Single Post - How to make subforum name visible to guests but not threads within it

Could someone please explain how I can set things so that a subforum name and description is clearly visible to guests on the front forum index page, but only registered members can actually see inside the subforum and see the Thread List Index page, or read threads within it?

Many thanks in advance! And my apologies if it seems a stupid newbie question.
