Yes this is true vBulletin cost a little bit of cash but the list of modifications for it are endless and I'm sure if you were to find all the paid and even free mods/hacks for it you can make a pretty good alternative to the Prospero system. Yet it is possible to make a paid mod thats no more that $100 (yearly or biyearly).

Great Idea man I hope it can be done by next year, that is if some one takes on the challenge.
