um, you can fully disabled the ability for users to view the "old" profiles via the Zoints control panel area. simply set the option for every user group.

Is there a way to 'kill off' the VB profile area - and force folks to use the Zoints Profile area? In other words.. What do people do with a VB CP area AND a Zoints Profile area running at the same time?...

people edit their profiles on my site to set their location since Zoints hasn't provided the ability to pull user data out of a zoints profile and show in a post/threadbit as of this build. otherwise, the only profiles they view / use are the Zoints ones
