I need some help. Not one mod I download/upload through the product manager works. Even the most simple ones do not work: upload xml file and copy 1 php file over. All of these claim to modify the AdminCP, but they do not (on mine).

I run 3.6.8-1 and have searched manuals and documentation to no avail. The one mod I got working did not require uploading as a product (and I call the php page directly). ANY IDEAS? I am pretty frustrated. I even create 'development' copy on my laptop for backup/recovery testing and it behaves the same.

Your thoughts and help are very much appreciated!
