Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I wasn't able to find anything new that helped, and this is pretty much my exact problem....

I'm having the same issue with the RSS Poster feature--it will work, and the posts will show up when I manually reset and then run the RSS Poster scheduled task, but it will not run on its own. I can go in and look at the preview, and it is updating correctly, but for whatever reason the posts don't show up on their own as they are supposed to. I have checked the Forum Permissions for the users the posts are supposed to appear under, and they are set correctly--there is nothing I can see that would keep them from posting. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? Thanks
