I'd like to be able to link an email list with the forum. I would want brand-new subsribers to the email list, who have no connection/subscription/account/login with the forum to be able to (without their knowledge) convert the emails they send to the email list to posts in the forum. Same thing for new web-forum posters to the email list.

After reading the Add-on closely, I'm suspect that it can handle said scenarios well. Comments?

http://www.mail2forum.com can, but it (to my knowledge) only plays nicely with phpBB. And I'm considering creating my new forums in vbulletin instead.
