Hi,

We're running a forum with a hidden part for regular members.
Not showing this hidden part to the regular members is not an issue, but they do have the "new posts" count in their welcome block. They know there are posts in this part of the forum, but they cannot view them.

How do I exclude this part from the "new posts" count for these usergroups.

The "new posts" count is invoked and displayed with the following command: "http://www.myforumlocation.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew"

Ow... this is invoked from the frontpage welcome block of vBadvanced.

p.s. I did a search on the forum here for an answer... and couldn't find any... if this is a question whixh has already been posted, please let me know, and the mods can close this thread.
