It surprises me, but the reasoning behind my comment is that if you start applying a mixture of different images whether it's icons or any other graphics then it paves the way for inconsistency and nothing imo matches the vbulletin stock. maybe if you take a screenshot of the post icon area and erase the current crop of icons then paste a matching set then your suggestion may get a better reception.

Edit: The Idea icon looks nice.
