Nobody can see if you are currently online or not when you set yourself to invisible (well except staff). All they can see is which month you where last online.

But maybe we should implement your suggestion and disallow members to set themself as invisible.

There is really no reason to keep repeating the same, unless you come up with new good arguments why we should change the current setup.
