I'll give a basic review juding the first 5 seconds of both.

The first one, i like the design. Sweet, powerful, and smooth looking... but without wanting to read everything, seeing all the cars posted on the front without much info wanted to make me sort of turn away... but I'm one of those impatient surfers that likes to find info right there and then. But on a good note, i would give it a 4 / 5... I like it.

The second one, I think it would appeal greatly to mothers with babys as your theme reflects. i think for most people looking for forums as such would post here because it's simple and to the point. It doesn't target gamers, but rather parents looking to post some good info. I would suggest using a few better graphics, but works for me.
