does anyone know is there a function/hack able to change the ownership of a post (maybe thread as well)

as example ....
a machine (rss or something else) posts ...
and start the thread ... after rewrite or reassign or whatever ..
the moderator would like to be the threadstarter ...

in case of automated posts ... its the most easyest way to just use the automaticly generated thread .. and change Threadstarter in threads and the ownership of the first post ...
