For this, this is due to the use of GENERIC_SHELL template which you have the $HTML var.

Two solutions for me for version 1.0.3:

Remove the edition of the GENERIC_SHELL template
Use an other replacement variable especially for this template (like search for '<html id="' (the html tag in this template has a value like 'moooo' - the dev who have implemented that have some humours ).
