For me, I find the style too dark and in highlighted areas, to prominent. Visually, it's not easy on the eyes. Maybe opt for a softer/richer less prominent yellow would save users such as myself burnt retinas.

The very few icons that I do have permission to view are nice except the bold/prominent yellow used, add some colour and break the yellow out so it doesn't dominate the style so much.

Overall. Too dark, and in places to prominent wherever the yellow was used. My suggestion would be to lower the tone of the yellow and use some other colours which would offer a certain level of consistency with this style.
