Well, they've added code to the top of the main display php (not sure which file that is, ask one of the gurus).

Alternative: add a second table at the bottom of the NAVBAR template. Pure HTML work that displays every time the NAVBAR is displayed... oh yeah, that's every time!

(yes, I've stayed up waaay past my bed time)
